A few days ago it was brought to my attention by my good friends over at the Riot Act that my favourite restaurant (Kingsleys, Weston Creek) had been closed down by ACT Health. The closing down of cafes etc is sure a hot topic on the RA since Gus’ and My Cafe in Manuka suffered a similar fate a month or so ago. The commenters (or as I like to call them, the fucking IDIOTS that post there) wondered if maybe the newly introduced regulations were a bit overly stringent, given how many well reputed establishments had been forced to close temporarily. Well, who knows about these things. And, frankly, who fucking cares. I’ve had a few people mention to me in the last few days about the closing down of Kingsleys (hey you uppity anon-douche who asked me why I blog about nuggies, this is why! Association works, idiot). This comes at a particularly unfortunate time for me as I will be back in the Holy Land this Friday. Two people today though have told me WHY it was shut down (thanks Tanny and the only babe left in the video rental industry). And gosh, I just don’t know what to do now. I hope ACT Health checked out the Woden shop so I can still get some nuggies/chips and gravy.
